On March 20, 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Bünde Volunteer Fire Department – Hunnebrock Fire Brigade – to our premises. As part of a large-scale fire drill, emergency response procedures were practiced under conditions as realistic as possible. Thick smoke, rapid emergency responses, and coordinated procedures made the drill an impressive experience for everyone involved. The goal of the drill was to train the various emergency response teams to work together seamlessly and to gain valuable experience for a real emergency. Once again, the firefighters impressed us with their professional approach, calm communication, and tireless physical effort.
For us, it was exciting to witness firsthand just how much expertise, concentration, and teamwork goes into every single action. Exercises like this impressively demonstrate how important the commitment of volunteer responders is to our community—and how naturally they take on responsibility for the safety of others. A heartfelt thank you to the Hunnebrock Fire Department for your visit and your outstanding work! We are proud to have been able to support you on-site and say: Thank you for being there for all of us—day and night.
